Youth Basketball Tournament In Marion, Iowa Marion Tip-Off Classic GIRLS 13th Annual

Rules	8 teams per age group, 3 game guarantee, two certified referees for all games, awards for 1st & 2nd place Games will consist of four eight (8) minute quarters with a continuous clock. Halftime will be four (5) minutes. The clock will stop on dead balls in the last two (2) minutes of second half. Overtime will be two (2) minutes. If still tied after the first overtime, the second overtime will be sudden victory. Two (2) time outs per game. One (1) time out in overtime. Unused game time outs will not carry over into overtime. No full court press after a team reaches a 20-point lead. Third and fourth grade level teams can only press in the last 4 minutes of the game. Three point goals will count in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade brackets. All goals are worth 2 points in the 3rd thru 5th grade brackets, regardless of distance. All technical fouls are two points plus possession of the ball. No free throws will be shot. No zone defense allowed in 3rd - 5th grade level teams.
