Iowa Boys and Girls Basketball Association rules apply.
Game Play: Two 16-minute halves with a 3-minute halftime. Running clock for all games, except in the final 2 minutes of the 2nd half (unless one team is up by 15+ points).
Fouls: 1-and-1 free throws after 7 team fouls per half. Two free throws after 10 fouls per half.
Timeouts: Two per half (no carryover). One additional timeout granted in overtime.
Overtime: One 3-minute period, followed by sudden death if still tied.
Technical Fouls: Two technical fouls by coaches or players will result in a forfeit.
3-Point Line: 3-point shots are allowed at all age levels.
Pressing:
Grades 5–8: Full court press allowed unless ahead by 15 points or more.
Grades 3–4: No full court press allowed.
Defense: No zone defense allowed for 3rd and 4th grade divisions. | | |
