RulesRules:
• IHSAA rules will be in play with the following exceptions:
• Games will consist of two 20 minute halves. The clock will run continuously, stopping only for
Free throws, until the last two minutes of each half. The clock will stop on the whistle for the last two minutes of each half.
• There will be NO THREE POINT SHOT in either divisions.
• NO ZONE DEFENSE will be allowed in the front court. Teams must play man to man defense.
•
Full court pressure can be applied at any time.
** We will employ a “15 point Rule”. If your team is ahead by 15 or more points, you must TAKE OFF the press. Once the lead drops below 15, you may again apply full court pressure.
• Team uniforms are to be of the same color and must have a clearly visible number.
• Excellence in modeling good Sportsmanship is requested, and expected. Thanks for your cooperation!
FYI:
• Warm up basketballs will be provided. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN BASKETBALLS.
• There will be an admission charge at the door.
$3.00 per person. Coaches and players participating will obviously be admitted free.
• A concession stand will be available for your convenience. This is a fund-raiser for a youth baseball team. So please support our concession stand.
• Roster size is unlimited.
The format of tournament and schedule will be determined at a later time.
