• Games will consist of four 8-minute quarters. The clock will run continuously, stopping only for
Free throws, until the last two minutes of each half. The clock will stop on the whistle for these last two minutes of each half.
NO All-Star teams-players must be from the same school district.
• There will be NO THREE POINT SHOT in any of the divisions.
• NO ZONE DEFENSE will be allowed in the front court. Teams must play man to man defense.
• In the 5th and 6th grade division, full court pressure may only be applied in the last two minutes of each half.
In the 7th and 8th grade divisions, full court pressure can be applied at any time.
** We will employ a “15 point Rule” in the 7th & 8th Grade Divisions… If your team is ahead by 15 or more points, you must TAKE OFF the press. Once the lead drops below 15, you may again apply full court pressure.
• Team uniforms are to be of the same color and must have a clearly visible number.
• Excellence in modeling good Sportsmanship is requested, and expected. Thanks for your cooperation!
FYI:
· Medals for 1st place in each division.
· Warm up basketballs will be provided. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN BASKETBALLS.
· There will be an admission charge at the door. $5.00 per adult and $3.00 per student. 5 and under are free. Coaches and players participating are admitted free.
· Concession stands will be available for your convenience at both sites. Please support our concession stand.
· Roster size is unlimited-but your team can only receive maximum of 10 medals if roster is larger.
