• IHSAA rules will be in play with the following exceptions:
• Games will consist of two 20 minute halves. The clock will run continuously, stopping only for
Free throws, until the last two minutes of each half. The clock will stop on the whistle for these last two minutes of each half.
• There will be NO THREE POINT SHOT in any of the divisions.
• NO ZONE DEFENSE will be allowed in the front court. Teams must play man to man defense.
• In the 5th grade division, NO FULL COURT PRESSURE IS ALLOWED.
• In the 6th grade division, full court pressure may only be applied in the last two minutes of each half.
• In the 7th and 8th grade divisions, full court pressure can be applied at any time.
** We will employ a “15 point Rule†in the 7th & 8th Grade Divisions… If your team is ahead by 15 or more points, you must TAKE OFF the press. Once the lead drops below 15, you may again apply full court pressure.
• Team uniforms are to be of the same color and must have a clearly visible number.
• Excellence in modeling good Sportsmanship is requested, and expected. Thanks for your cooperation!
FYI:
• Warm up basketballs will be provided. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN BASKETBALLS.
• There will be an admission charge at the door. A mere $3.00 per person (for multiple child
family’s, you will only have to pay at one site. Coaches and players participating will obviously be admitted free.)
• Concession stands will be available for your convenience at both sites.
• Roster size is unlimited, however, should your team finish 1st or 2nd… you will receive 10 T-Shirts. If you have a conflict with this situation, we will be glad to provide the name and address of our vender so
you can fill in the number of shirts you need on your own.
